Just picked up a 1975 PC50K1 and a 1974 PF50 Novio to join my growing collection of honda Mopeds. Already owned a 1968 P50. both bikes are in decent condition, but the PC50 has some non standard bits fitted, some sort of custom made twin exhaust, and a custom rear carrier. and of course it is missing the carb cover. and the rims are past there best, so if i can find a NOS set or good repros id be tempted to get them rebuilt. so If anybody has a "mars orange" PC50 carb cover, or both the carb cover and air filter cover in white im interested! also looking for the pressed steel carrier, colour dont matter as i'll repaint i, and a standard PC50 exhaust.
The Novio is all there except the headlight surround (the silver plastic) has a small chunk missing. so I will need to find one of those. and it looks like the rims have been powder coated or painted. they look nice but im sure they would have been chromed from new. this bike was last on the road in 2016, so as long as i can find the headlight i should be able to just service this, check it over and get a test on it.. as im unsure whether its already been registered as historic. and as far as im aware it needs an MOT on it before you can do so. same for the PC50. so im also seeking the PF50 headlight rim or complete lens and blowl. it sorta looks like the puch maxi square headlights.
As part of this same bunch of bikes ive picked up i also bought a new old stock Tomos A3, circa mid 80s in red, i had one at 16 in the identical colour/model its never been registered from what i can tell, and has about 300km on the speedo. I was told it was used around a couple of camp sites and was carried on a motorhome. I also picked up a rather mediocre 86 C70 Custom in a dire shade of orange... i love orange.. this one is just not a nice shade. i dunno whether to try and get it back to being a standard bike. or just sort out the uglyness. exposed wiring, rattle can matt black sidecovers etc.. I may post a wanted ad to see if theres any reasoably priced parts around to tidy it up and get an mot on it.
All of them need the V5's applying for but thankfully they are all on the system, and ive had a hpi check done, so all is clear there. its just gonna be a bit of a ballache to apply at the minute with the protracted waiting times involved.
Am unsure what ill be doing with these in the long term. I didnt really expect to end up with 3 nice old honda mopeds. Truth be told there isnt room in the garage for them, I only went to look at the cub 70

Re: PC50K1 and PF50 Novio
Congratulations on the acquirements.
The only practical thing of any use I can add is to say that if you can't find a carb cover in Mars Orange, then BMW Inka Orange is considered to be an exact match.

Re: PC50K1 and PF50 Novio
There were two different shades of orange used on the NC50, Mars Orange and Shiny Orange.
I can't vouch for the accuracy of the following information, but this page suggests modern matches for Honda paints which may be unavailable, not just for the NC50 but other Honda motorcycles from the era..

yes i think the orange used on the PC50, is the same as on the CT they did in orange and grey, and on the Express. paint code YR6 Mars Orange, Harry Monk that page is very USA centric, they didnt get these for as long as we did in the UK, or in other markets.
