It is on eBay as a classified add so no bids ,that is the price you pay .
I would hope so but it's also on a live auction on their site with bidding opening at £650 and a reserve price, so I suppose open to bids.
I might not get to see it now anyway as Boris might tell us all to hibernate for another month tonight :|

Get it bought and just ride it. Enjoy it for what it is and improve things as you go along.

So I went and had a look. Took my partner with me who knows about engines but not bikes specifically. He gave it a thorough looking over. Everything seemed good apart from 10 minutes after the engine had been running there was a plasticky smell and smoke from around the engine ( which I filmed). Does anyone know what this could be?

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. The smoke was coming from the crankcase cover ( where the torch is pointing in the video) so not really the exhaust.

Last owner might have sprayed the engine with WD40 to prevent corrosion, I do this to mine often as it's left outside.
If this is the case then it will smell and smoke from the outside of the engine until it's all evaporated.

Ok maybe something like that. it wasn't particularly oily smelling though, a bit of an odd smell! Could it be damp and oil?
