Just so as you all know. The C125 IS faster than a new CB125F. I 'raced' one up the East Lancs Road the other night. Showed it a clean pair of heels.

Re: The CB125F 2021-on topic
I think Bogger is right, CB125f is designed for Learner riders so is low geared, I like it like that, it pulls well up hills in 5th gear. I'm sure that the front sprocket could be increased by one tooth now that the engine is loose, that would increase speed by about 7%. A benefit for new riders is that it runs in top gear at 20mph in the SE, the centre of 20mph zones.

There is that I suppose. That's the biggest drawback of the Cub. The stupidly small tank and range.

saw a honda dealer charging £1 more for 2nd hand then rrp for a new one and it was the same dealer.Mattt wrote: ↑Tue Jun 14, 2022 8:17 pmI might have to sell the superdream if fuel prices keep on rising ,was going to have a test ride on a mt07 but maybe i should go back to a 125 , had a Benelli tnt125 , Honda CD175 and Yamaha RXS100 before as commuters .Hanging on until the new dax is out ,but if not will break out the cub for another winter .
As you say the prices for used Cb125 s are crazy ,id rather buy new

Re: The CB125F 2021-on topic
Our local dealer has done this with C125s and other smaller bikes, supply and demand apparently. I've been there to express interest in a new 125F but they seem less than enthusiastic to talk about it. I can wait.richie the 1st wrote: ↑Mon Jun 20, 2022 6:05 pmsaw a honda dealer charging £1 more for 2nd hand then rrp for a new one and it was the same dealer.
Looking on MCN there are a lot of other dealers selling older used at prices very near new.
