Mr Miyagi...KZ1000
After owning a couple over the years I sold my last one and bought a Blackbird... mid life crisis and the best bike ever , smooth and so powerful, however I soon realised I would kill myself and got rid.. after a few years I set out in search of my old stalwart, and bought my third one an imported Low mileage 1976 Kz1000, cleaning refurb commenced and original exhausts were sourced and fitted, and although it was a survivor I couldn’t live with the paintwork so it was repainted in its original diamond sky blue and a few bolt on bits powder coated..After an eighteen month faff with Dvla I managed to find it a Special number plate ...lockdown gave me the chance to strip it down and it’s now too clean to take out , however I do occasionally ride out for a brekkie
Thanks for taking the time to have a gander...
As he is at the moment ...
Watching over his new baby brother

Just got the C90 which I have bought to use for short trips (on dry days) not so much gear required either so C90 , hopefully will remember to use the clutch on the big one although clutch less changes aren’t difficult on it.

I have always liked those. I think because they were the top of the Kawasaki range when I was at my most impressionable.
A tad more refined than the old Z1/Z900s, and generally a lovely bike to ride stand back and look at.

Still can't believe how you managed to get that number plate.
You've done a wonderful job but (and no offence) I just can't get on with black bikes. I'm pretty sure it's just me. I don't care what the bike is, I always say to myself, " What a shame it's black".

Solved that for you. I can’t be offended as it’s blue , sometimes looks green and on occasions blackknapdog wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 12:30 pmStill can't believe how you managed to get that number plate.

So some complete and utter git has agreed to buy the old z which really hurts… haven’t ridden it since before covid happens so thought it was time to move it one . Once I had given it a little buff up and a quick blip around the block !!!!!! What have I done … Such a beautiful thing what good is money in the bank.
