Everybody's garage needs an Enfield.......
In your case Cap'n I'd say a Flying Flea would suit you sir.
Extra points for the man who can say which WW2 film saw Donald Sutherland riding around on one.

Reading through the wikipedia page on the Flying Flea this was at the bottom, so we may well see Cap'n on a Flea yet.Diesel Dave wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 1:57 pmEverybody's garage needs an Enfield.......

"On 11/02/2020, Eicher Motors Limited, the parent company of Royal Enfield, registered for a new trademark for "ROYAL ENFIELD FLYING FLEA" with UIPO, the European Union Intellectual Property Office, sparking the hope in the motorcycle community that the name would be revived with a new small displacement motorcycle. The original Flying Flea was a superb concept, and in this day and age, easy to hoik into the back of a Transit Connect.

My Dad had a Flying Flea after the war and rode it until 1950 when he bought a BSA Scout. I've still got the RE marked plug spanner hanging in the shed. He didn't ride again until 1967 (had real problems keeping him off my bike).

And before Bogger has ago, the basket is for carrying my cucumber sandwiches with the crusts cut off, and picnic blanket plus flask of Earl Grey tea.
