Just found this review. Seems pretty good to be fair though still a grand more than a Suzuki 110 address and usual story doesn't address the issue of battery disposal/life expectancy/replacement costs

but as for insurance group I'm sure it'll be whatever premium they can extort (I'm sure there'll be caveats about 'rare vehicle, not on our database and all the cliches the dysfunctional clone on a phone can't handle

The Niu scooters are brilliant fun.

I've only ridden the N which is restricted to 30mph but it gets there very quickly, so in town traffic it's excellent.

It was a decent physical size too, with a dual seat, and because of the motor's torque, carrying a pillion is viable.

The price of the N was just over £2k and its range was 50 miles IIRC.

Onthewheel near me are main dealers for Niu.

I would expect that the motor will be rated in watts which is power rather than cubic capacity?

If you knew the actual power output of a given engine I'm sure you could work out a comparative estimate?

Thing is, the power delivery is supposedly linear with an electric motor, so should be faster to accelerate and reach top speed?

Think 750 watts to 1 horsepower ;) so 125 cc 15hp max would equal 11,250 w or 11.25 kw for CBT at 17 years old ,anything bigger would need an A2 or greater licence .Mopeds still need to be restricted to 28mph and some E scoots are just that.

It is 745.7 watts to 1 horsepower but for ease of quick calculations 750 is close . :)
And 1 newton metre is the equivalent of 1/4 pound on a 1 metre long stick which is why there are 9.8 apples to a kilo.
