Well I did think about that, but Blackpool Honda have solved the problem by de-glazing the clutch :D Perhaps it wasn’t necessary to renew all the variator components, but I’m not complaining, I’ve had variator done & a new belt. Bike should be OK for another 10k miles So the answer is my old mate. No I will not be changing & my confidence is now restored in Honda Motorcycles. :D :D :D

The clutch gets glazed if you take off to slowly.

Give it some revs so the clutch engages quickly and let the variator do its job.
