Re: Insurance
My buildings and contents renewal came in today from Saga. I went to a price comparison site and got the same cover for £100 less. Saga say they would match the quote but stuff them. Get it right first you conning barstewards. Working on the principle that most people won't be bothered to check and change.

Re: Insurance
Used to go with post office insurance through a compare site, but avoid them now as sometimes they were understaffed and the amount of waiting before anybody answered the phone during these periods was ridiculous.
Now through Bennetts, my bmw F650Gs twin 800 fully comp, max no claims.....9 years capped I think was about £80.
Innova no claims, fully comp about £85.
Seem a good company compared to the post office.
Used to be with AA back when you used yellow pages and a telephone, was brilliant no admin fee for changing bike, of course that’s all changed now.
ANYBODY DO MULTIPLE BIKES SAME POLICY?

Re: Insurance
Have been insured with Bennetts the last 2 years. Have 2 bikes(multibike) fully comp with all the add ons for(2018-19) £229. I am over 70 with max no claims discount and bikes are kept securely garaged. My main bike is a Yamaha Tracer 700 (2 years old) & my other is the C90-G(1992). I realise postcode can have a massive effect on premium-In my city there are areas that it would be much more expensive to obtain cover than mine.
One way I reduce the cost is to accept a larger voluntary excess. This may be a bit of a gamble but can work well if you have a good driving/riding record.
It will be interesting to see what Bennetts want for 3rd year renewal end of next month. There are very few case in life nowadays where customer loyalty pays off and many organisations are only too willing to rely on customer apathy.
The other thing to watch is "automatic renewal" where many companies store debit/credit card details and unless you tell them otherwise will take the money from your account.
Remember they are not there for your benefit but their first loyalty is to their shareholders. Being "old school" I still believe that good riding/driving should be rewarded not penalised but its a crazy world isnt it?

Re: Insurance
I'm intrigued? back when I used to insure with CN (before they got bought out & the biggest bunch of hand jobs going) the max number of bikes on their multi bike policy was 4 so I had to run multiple policies.
How long has their multi bike been multi ??
