I can see how people might be drawn into owning one. A localish dealer had 2 unregistered 650s in red and silver earlier this year at £2995, they looked good to me, very much like the old model SV650S which is old hat now but I like (obviously). :D
Yup, having lost a (smal) shirt on the 250 I'm just thankful that I didn't buy a new Aquila 650!!!!

I was in my 3rd year of self imposed exile, riding an auto scooter because of my carked knee, when I bought the Comet 250 for my lad.

The 650 Hyosung Aquila looked the absolute dog's danglies, with an impressive spec that seemed to match its great looks. It was going to be my next bike.

The sheer atrociousness of the 250 made me look at the Aquila in a much more critical light ... as in seeing it at the end of a very long barge pole!

I bought another Harley instead! 8-)

Buying a Harley over something for build quality and reliability...that's saying something!

I actually quite fancy a GV650, the later variant with the shorter tail.

Yup the same one but I'd like it in the red colour:

Was seriously considering one when I worked in South Africa, they were around £3500 new there!

I read that there could be issues related to "Hyosung Stator / Regulator (Electrical) Problems" but there was a fairly easy fix using reasonably priced and more reliable Kawasaki parts or suchlike?

Still wouldn't say no, if I could get one cheap enough.

They still look fantastic, but ...

However, this is an interesting development.

If my information is correct, this is the only bike in Hyosung's range that Sinnis are bringing in.

Given that they turn down many more Chinese bikes than they include in their own range, there may be some improvements to this one. Still Korean built so I'm assuming from the same factories as the earlier bikes and the Aquila 650.

What a bonkers price for the 125, especially considering the 650 was the same price in South Africa!

There's not a lot that's cheap in South Africa, particularly in regards to transportation...
