Not sure if it's the carb version or injection or both.....that have a a clear inch long bit of pipe coming down from the air box or something, held on with a clip,,,,,empty any fluid from it.

There's also a chrome pipe,,,,some where near the cylinder head ,,,,about 6/8mm......that can blow some times due to corrosion.

There's some good instructural videos on YouTube, but the fella shows everything on his injection inv, have a look he's called tamirkr ( or similar ).......he puts some real effort into his videos....really worth watching.

One of my favourite bikes of all time.

sorry, Wuyang, I can't see anything in those first two comments, just ellipses and one side of a square bracket.

And re. Tamirkr, yep his videos are excellent, I'm sure they'll come in handy when it comes to changing the oil and oil filter etc.

the clear pipe is empty and the chrome pipe is fine, thanks for the pointers though. I took it out for a ride this afternoon, i'm convinced it's a fuel supply issue as it was sort of pulsating while going uphill and only managed 25mph in 2nd.

I can't quite figure out which one is the carb's fuel inlet pipe, is it the cloth braided hose that connects to the float bowl?
