Mental - anyone got anything to say about these? Is marketing something like that at hoodlums and calling it that name really legal?

Anyway it reminds me of the CT bikes crossed with a PF50 or similar, and toned down a bit it would make a great rat bike.

there a skeleton scooter, do them in 50cc and 125cc... using the usual suspect chinese copy of our beloved cubby engine... basically a bare bones knock off c90, i would love to get one of there frames, fit decent suspension, wheels and forks, and drop in a proper cub engine for reliability... paint it in metallic orange or purple metalflake... in fact since im chummy with local bike breaker guys i may just ask em to keep any back that come in with a sound frame, the 125 version is more beefed up... ie heavier! so be best to get a 50 frame to plonk a 90 in. at moment cos there a "new" bike (is something based on a cub engine can be considered new)they would be steep to pick up... give it a couple of yrs when they are just old scooters, be cheap to get and do up then. would make a great project, especially with bigger front n rear shocks, and some knobblies... in fact quick hunt on gumtree shows that the 50cc can be picked up for 450 complete and made since 2004, so surely a sniff around bike breakers might chuck up an interesting project, i reckon frame, wheels, and aquire bigger front end and stronger monoshock... could make a interesting project. a "street scrambler" cub

I think they look pretty good but IIRC Sachs were bought out by the Chinese...

yeah thats why i wouldnt trust one build quality wise, fine if you could access a 50cc frame, and wheels, and rebuilt her using a cub engine, better aftermarket parts, would make for a funky take on a cub, im sure if done right would make for a great handling cub, better brakes, lighter frame. could be a barrel of laughs and reliable.

I like the look of 'em. Like a giant BMX with a Cub engine!! Wouldn't call it a scooter though! (big wheels, footpegs - everything a scooter's not!!)

lol sick telling my sis a cub aint a scooter, but a lightweight bike or a underbone bike... i do own a scooter, a scooter to me has enclosed bodywork, and small wheels! a lightweight bike is a 50-175cc bike, i even call mopeds lightweight bikes. probably wrong in doing so but hey! thing is i love lightweight bikes, and scooters to an extent,

About four years ago my then boss bought a Madass thing...wheezy 50cc motor but the rest of it was very very well put together with all the nuts/bolts an fittings plated to a seemingly high standard...forks were top qual stuff an over all it was a right bit of kit... Didgi speedo, stacked headlamp/projector thingy an LED back light an indicators..all from new.

Mind you that was a while back so owt cud have gone with em since.

yeah i was so intrigued i called the local bike breakers to me to see if he had any in accident damaged on nicked n recovered insurance write off... he has never had one in yet or seen one in aberdeen, he imports sachs n sym, keeway chinese scooters.if my interest is piqued enough i may just hunt one down on the cheap a old 50... use it as a project basis, maybe for next yr, this yr my cubby is my priority anybody also seen the SYM Symba, basically looks like a mid 70s round light model cub, and since SYM were the honda licensee manufacturer for cubs in taiwan, they shouldn't be half bad, prob closest we can get to a new cubby... shame no one in UK takes em in, only the states.
