The front looks bigger than the back on the pic. Is that just optical illusion with the angle and thinner tyre?

yeah the back tyre looks to be fatter, think the rims are same size, just larger section, like when we fit a 275 x 17 to rear, and 250 x 17 at front of the cub

A good buy, if you have something to do with them. Or to sell on, if your mate won't mind you doing so.
But they're not Cubs. ;)

well i bought them for my nieces, but they aint plasticy or modern enough for them... so stuff em, ill keep em for myself. i will know better once i get my grubby mitts on them, but i think i will probably either end up making 1 good bike from 2 and rebuild the spare engine n wheels etc as good drop in spares, or if they are both good enough and i can source all the parts, i will do both em up and probably sell one on, keep one

Hi,ive got a PXR 50 leccy start ped,the wheels are different sizes, offhand (i can find out if you realy want) i think the rear wheel is 14 inch and the front 16 inch.
I bought mine as a prodject bike in order to keep me busy but ive not found time to atack it yet !
I spent an hour on it and got it running but it had a strange rumble from somewhere,i couldnt have a trial run as its got a puncture in the rear wheel !
Ive been looking for a workshop manual for it but ive not had any success.
It would make an ideal bike for kids as young as 13 year old to ride and they are twist and go so simple for a youngster to learn to ride, offroad and under supervision.
£250 for the pr.seems a good price if they are goers and you dont have hundreds of miles to travel to collect them.
Good luck if you buy them they will give some kids hours and hours of fun,i started my son of with a Garreli tiger cross 50 cc and he became a serious good rider, far better than ive ever been,he owns sports bikes now,150 mph +
Cheers

good to know tyres are diff size and sections, i knew i had read somewhere that the wheel was a 14"... so thats rear covered, im lead to believe the Honda camino used same engine so.... i have a PDF copy of the haynes manual for that, should at least cover the engine and i did own a Honda express 1981 moped as a teen and was used to working on that, so cant be much different engine wise. im gonna be concentrating on my cub for now as it needs some work doing, and MOT is out in june. PXR has the cast mag wheels does it not? i think with right work these littlepeds might make great wee green laners

Cerberus73 wrote:lol you guys keep throwing temptation at me... 70cc kits eh... bigger carb... modified Variator, better unrestricted CDI... mmmmmm... damn homer simpson moment there! i have looked around but cant seem to find the decal graphics avaialble anywhere, looked on reproductiondecals and sunrisegraphics... so aliengravy...Q... if i replicate these in say adobe illustrator.... could you print them off, pretty please at a reasonable price (pm me with any format requirements, and a rough idea of cost if ya can do it)

sidenote to the guys looking to fit knobblies to there cubs... if you can get these 16" rims, and lace em up to a cub hub... there ya go enough clearance for 275x16" and no need to butcher your mudguards etc

If your talking about the blue and white stickers on the tanks, they should be fairly simple to do :) If you can replicate the dimensions, it will be even more simple for me, as that's what normally takes all my time up!!

It wont be very much :) If your interested send me a PM :)

As for the bikes! They look super! Would make brilliant green laners as has been said!, I wonder if the front end would fit a cub...? hmmm....

It may well do, if it uses the same headraces as most small Hondas.. but they don't look very strong compared to Cub forks.. they're the all-steel 'upside downies' like on Novio and Camino mopeds.
Probably better off with SS50 / CB100 / CG125 etc. for road use or XL100 for off -road. (proper cast alloy fork legs and hydraulic damping)
