Hello all,
I have been playing in the garage with the new Vision today. After a bit of work under the panels, it’s almost ready for my daily commute into Edinburgh. I’ve been fitting an auxiliary power circuit to power my accessories such as lights and heated gear, grips etc for the next winter coming. I also noticed that Dr Pulley are now offering 14 gram sliders as well as the 13 gram ones I tried previously. I’m tempted to get a set and try for the ongoing discussion on the Vision uphill performance. In the meantime and if anyone is interested, here’s a little picture of the ongoing work under the plastic so far.

I have used a BlueSea systems power connector block divided up into three for a constant live lead under the seat to power my heated vest and connect to the Oxford lead for charging, a switched live via a relay for the heated grips and lights and a ground connection for everything. You can connect the terminals with little metal jumpers and divide it up as you wish. The block is stuck to the top of the battery with a number plate pad which works well and keeps your wiring neat and tidy. Now I just need to fit the sliders and the power accessories and I will be ready for the road again.

They look nice in black. I only went for the red again because it was a pre-reg 2018/18 plate for £1890.00 otr so too good to turn down at that price. If you do get one I have spare variator weights in many combinations if you want to play with it. The heated grips went on tonight. A dremel with a speed cutter does a nice job of taking off the ridges on the throttle tube. Just have to glue in place tomorrow and fit the Rigid industries lights I bought. I’m going to mount them on the plastic at the sides to boost the lighting for the dark lanes on my way home.
Once that projects finished I guess I had better get the big bike MOT’d again as I checked online and it’s expired :o always something to do eh?

No problem. I shall post up some pics when it’s done. I’m off tomorrow and planning to complete it then. I loose fitted the heated grips last night so not too much to do now.
