Re: Honda vision 110cc up hill speed
I've put 10000 miles on a 2015 Suzuki Address over the last couple of year - no problems with pulling up hills at 40ish and tops out at around 60.
If a Vision 110 is performing that badly, it can only be that it needs a change in the roller weights to shift the gearing around a little. It's a sub-£20 part if you have the time and effort!

CVT tuning with different springs and weights will make the engine rev higher, at the cost of more revs on the flat, which you hardly ever ride anyway.
Not doing this is like using the same gear shift points uphill as on the flat.
You can go all the way with a complete variator set, or just change the rollers to a different weight:

The first and cheapest option is tuning springs for the original clutch:

Good feedback on the Malossi variator from Vision 50 owners.

There are several reasons why someone would want a bike registered as a 50 but capable of more than 28 mph.richie the 1st wrote: ↑Mon Apr 17, 2017 3:46 pmBut why buy a 50cc vision and try to make it go quicker..????????????????? when a 110cc vision is much better.
Not all are strictly legal, but several reasons nonetheless.
Many more reasons than would inspire someone to tune a 110 cc scooter. That's why reviews and performance reports of variators are more common on the Vision 50.
