What to buy

Someone's offered to buy the riders cub ,still keeping the proper cub
Havent decided what replace it with ,its needs to be nimble and small as a lot of the commute is through tight 3 lanes of traffic and a lot of filtering ,budget around £1500
Previous bikes were Honda CD175 ,Yamaha Rxs100 Honda super dream 250

Considering a Honda MSX125 ,Honda superdream 400 Yamaha Rd125lc Enfield 350 ,although the Enfield might be a bit too much maintenance as I generally use this bike as a hack and don't do too much to it
Cheers

Doubtful you'll get a Grom for £1500 unless it's carked! 8-)

With that description I'd go for a Sinnis Trackstar.

Like the look of the Sinnis, I have an aquaintance who has 2 of their 250 models and loves them.

Hate to appear to be acting on behalf of Minibike Craze but I reckon the Motrac 125 needs looking at at £1500. Was told these are made in the same factory as the MSX125 (and are ostensibly the same bike). I was tempted but the only one I saw was a horrible green version - there is a white one on their website now.

A friend bought a new MSX last year, changed the silencer and rear shock pronto. The rear shock was very nasty looking, it had the, normally adjustable, tabs badly welded up so was not adjustable. He only managed to keep the bike about 3 weeks before it was lifted (literally I believe) from outside his house.

Suppose the moral is that if you buy a Grom, buy a big ground anchor before you do anything else!

Matt, what you need is a nice big CB400, especially the auto version for commuting purposes.

Add some genuine Hondastyle accessories like a nice big fairing to hide behind and some classy luggage too.

As it happens I have just the very item available and at the price you mentioned (although it really should be more)........
