These are the muffs i have;-

Very warm if they will fit. Big problem is when you fit a screen.
So no screen = recommended, very versatile fitment and robust.

And, yup it is indeed an Airhawk, comfy but expensive. Have used it for about 5 years now on a myriad of different bikes.

Cheers.
Airhawk always tempting it's just the price, but I bet once you've tried one there's no going back.

I've just bought the same hand guards for the inj innova, but it looks like they won't fit with the front plastic fairing bit that goes right up to the grips been in the way.
Attaching them to the handle bar weights looks to be straight forward....did you just attach to the end of the ones already fitted?

Also, where did the other end of your handguards attatch to, I believe mine have a bolt hole on the bottom. Haven't had a good look yet, but when I held them up to the hand grips looked like they wouldn't fit.

Cheers

Andy it's more of a 20 yard bike than a 10 yard bike (this being the distance at which it looks 'reasonable')..... :D

That said it keeps up with a CG up to 50 so not all bad.

Steve just needs to brush up on his German and bob along to the German diesel bike rally again next year to swap stories with the German lads who ride the wheels off these things. (I swear one of their number weighs 20 stone).... :?

Re Airhawk................you are dead right, there is only one bike that it didn't improve and that is the Maxsym.
This might be worth a punt but i haven't tried it;-
Ebay number;- 401189225600

Re guard fixing. It's a bit of a cludge  The holes are on top on mine (at least that's the way i have always fixed them in the past) and the left one is under the mirror stalk on top of a 25mm adapter and the right one is under the top of the brake pivot bolt with a big spacer at the other end (the plastic guard end) to get it roughly at the same height as the left one!!
The bar ends are the ones supplied with the guards ATM but when i get some time i'm going to modify the OE ones (which include weights) to enable the guards to attach to them.
Fitted correx over guards now 'cos the muffs got in the way too much with the screen and sat nav. It was far too cluttered !!

If it can cope with a 20 stone rider, then it should easily cope with Steve's bike in fully loaded touring mode. :D
I prefer the look of the Wave over the Innova.
