Richie the 1st...... Nice to hear of your positive experiences with sh125.

Was the slower one slower for any reason...had they changed owt...what year?....so I can avoid it

Be very Interested to hear of how you found the vision ... And.... How you found the SH to have the edge...

Feel free to rant on as I'm looking for as much info as possible....comfort, acceleration,,,,,hold onto speed etc

Thanks

The 1st sh 125,i bought new,had 70 miles, up,so was going 70 m.p.h on it on the M25.Never did it any harm.
2nd sh 125,bought 2nd/hand,was 13 months old,had 212 miles up.A Woman hurt her back/shoulder,so could,nt ride it.May be the reason .don't know.
3rd sh 125i this time, got very good trade in,book said 300 miles. So it got it,then banged it,have never any problems ,with these 3 sh,s
A Engine is built too be used ,so I do.
The Honda vision is owned by lady at school ,where I work, lovely little scoot. They do there job,and that's it.
Honda sh 125.or Honda Vision 110i.Both very good,The sh 125 is better, but ths vision 110i,is no worse. But its cheaper. :?

Cheers Richie the first.

Barker......much difference between the SH and Honda mode? Is the mode single shock? And how do you find them compared to the innova ( that's if you've had an innova )?

The 2nd sh 125,was very slow compered to the others, but it done its job.No reason not to buy one.The Honda vision,110i. What a brill little scoot, now have ridden it more times,it does every thing that the sh 125 ,does ,just a bit slower. But in town [London] ,who needs speed/power. ???? Too many cameras about.
I Am 6"3" tall,so the sh 125 ,is big in size, for me.did ride the Honda pcx 125,when it came out, went well, but was it small, but the Honda vision, with it having a flat foot well.Is much better for me.so what is better..?????????
Sh 125 or the Vision 110i. ??????????????
Sh 125 is better in every way,but the Vision 110i,is much cheaper.
The sh 125 is better, but the Vision 110i,is not worse.
But there is a new scoot now.
The Suzuki Address ,[not the fl125] which I have also. Bigger in size/new tech engine/more m.p.g./bigger range/cheaper to buy/and it has a KICKSTART/ have only seen 1 on-the-road,depends on what you want/like.Me I will just be greedy, and have all 3.scoots.

My OH has a Honda Spacy CH125, which we are trying to restore. I believe they are now as rare as hen's teeth - trying to get any technical information is a nightmare :(

Just returned from a 700 mile w/e in Wales on the S-wing
Saturday was pissing all day and we did the mountain road from Tregaren (Devils staircase) and the Elan Valley. It was a challenging and technical ride and the bike was outstanding.
Sunday was sunny and warm and we rode similar roads near Bala plus fast sweeping roads too. Once again i couldn't fault it.
This w/e has delivered all types of riding and weather that i could possibly need to suss it's performance. My conclusion is that it's a great bike and i like it a lot.
I was trying out some new tyres too (Turkish) Anlas SC-500s and was very happy with them too.
All day cruising at indicated 65mph and very responsive at lower speeds. Comfy and smooth even at the higher speeds. Never gets embarrassed when passing HGVs although with some it's only 5mph faster :o
Highly recommended machine that punches way above it's 125cc expectations.

+1 for the S-Wing, I had a new one for 8000 trouble free miles, and Honda price consumables for 125's low, I think a OE belt is £29, same belt fits most 125 scooters.
The new Forza 125, does have a bit more power.

Will be interesting to see how Honda use that extra 1.3 hp.
Will they increase the gearing and get a bit more out of the top speed or will it be the same as the S-wing and just be more sprightly at medium (read "urban" there) speeds.

Reckon it will do 70 ??

Will it still have a 10k rev limiter ??
