hi all..
great site.
I am interested in buying a Honda 125 innova.what if any known faults to look for.seen one with sixty thousand on clock.would this be a no go etc.thanks in advance for replies..

How much you wanting to spend.......I would say round £600 for a not bad one, but you find within that price range they can vary dramatically in condition and mileage.

I would say your best friend will be patience.

You can probably buy a carb version a bit cheaper than the injection, I reckon the carb version is a bit more fun if you are wanting to rev the nuts off it.

I had a 2006 carb model with 10,000 miles, faults were a worn out camchain, not solved by a new tensioner and the rear chain snapped and took out the engine case (just after I sold it).

The injection Innova's exhaust's header pipe is just painted and rots fast.

Like all CUBs, the combined brake pedal and centre stand pivot rusts stuck in the centre stand and turns in the frame instead.

The chrome on the rims is poor.

Examine all plastic panels very carefully, they cost an arm and a leg to replace.

we had one that the cam chain was knackered so sounds like its common fault were are you only we have a carb innover in for sale

The cam chain problem seems to be specific to the carbed version, I don't remember reading about it on the German Innova forum,where they mostly ride injections

I have ridden 10000km on my injection model and it has not put a foot wrong.

Any one had problem with drive chain clattering inside case?
Have adjusted correctly, but still noisy.
