Re: RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION
bigs fine by me,
turning up at meets on other bikes, also ok,ish by me, given
the fact that hell of a lot of cub riders have bigger stuff too, and sometimes the meetings a long way.
but no, like newt ,turning it into a general forum like a lot of others turns it very bad,
i gave up on those such forums, a lot of rubbish typed, keyboard warriors , threats, bitching,
good info hard to find.
i actually got threatened once cos i rubbished what someone said, (i was correct, not him)
he was gonna come down and "do" me, lol, and he was a MOD!!!!
i have been banned off at least 3 general bike sites for saying something someone doesnt like,, and a certain bmw model specific site
(supposedly). and i said nothing that i couldnt say on here which would pass unnoticed.....
tbh, if you want to find anything out about a bigger/different bike, why ask on here?
feck off to a forum that caters for that bike,
theres a very good chance you will get better replies and knowledge doing so, but thats just my opinion, which i am allowed on THIS forum,
it doesnt get removed or edited...
theres no need for a other makes part,(but thats just my opinion) although as i said before, its hard as the cub is in a unique situation
with copies

Well, I'm all for 'making up' and putting it all behind us ……………………… as long as it doesn't involve any kissing.

Re: RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION
BTW, Final word, Hopefully.
For the record, if the lad had come here asking specifically about 'Riders Cubs', I wouldn't have had a problem with it myself, and I would expect an honest discussion to follow, no problem.

Re: RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION
I fully understand where Newt is with his feelings for the forum and trust his integrity in maintaining a true Cub site/club.
I joined because I needed to downsize my bike and wanted to get a Cub. Unfortunately I couldn't find one in my area so went the copy route. Since having got it I can appreciate your love of the real thing.
The site for me has provided and still provides a wealth of Cub knowledge which spills over to the copies and cannot be found elsewhere. As long as us non-Cubbies can still pick your brains at times then I'll be happy, hopefully it will sit OK with you too.

Re: RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION
Absolutely, inclusion of copies and/or owners of copies isn't the issue.

Read, digest, absorb, or as they used to say, and still do, RTFM.nixboy13 wrote:So is there a section for riders cub yet?
But in this case, RTFF. (Last F stands for forum)
