RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION

Post by krazy kev » Wed Oct 09, 2013 12:14 pm

Reading all the topics about the riders cub makes me wonder if it would be a good idea to have a section titled RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION much like this section is titled C90 DISCUSSION.
It would be so much easier to read all things riders. They do seem to be getting rather popular

Ive not read any remarks or comments re Riders Yamasaki,Riders do state there is little warranty with this bike,it makes you wonder why ! I understand anyone who sells you something (new) must give you a warranty for a reasonable period ?
What is a reasonable period ?
Am i correct with my understanding re warranties ?
I wonder what Trading Standards think of the Riders add for the Yamasaki ?

Same on the Cub, no warranty if you buy in a crate. Any damaged or faulty parts will be replaced but no warranty. No problem I can see as it's just the same if you buy a secondhand bike off Ebay or Gumtree. Dogsbody

Good suggestion on a riders cub chapter

I think it would be great to have all the info in a new section too, I never suggested it because I'm shy.

i can see the reason for not putting a warranty on a crated bike. riders have no knowledge on who is going to assemble it. for all they know it could be a 10 year old child putting it together. who in their own right mind would put a full warranty on a bike when there is a chance of it being put together incorrectly. it would be like buying a honda thats been assembled by mr kipling.

That is a lot of bike for the price. It makes me laugh though. Its a Honda CG clone yet it sounds like a cross between a Yamaha and a Kawasaki
