Yes the yamasaki is what it is. all bolts have to be tightened every now and then. One guy bought new and did everything to it and didnt last a year he was hoping for.
Another dad and son bought two of them at the same time for ride abouts and can you believe a little scrote nicked it police found it in a field but only needed a few bits to make good such is the price of the cheap parts. As always really as said time and again do the maintenance and fettling and things might go your way.

Mmm, nearly as popular as Innovas. Perhaps we should have a separate forum for those too?krazy kev wrote:They do seem to be getting rather popular

We asked for a separate section for Innovas, but nothing came of it.
Can we have asection for Innovas please?

Re: RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION
I'd like to see a section for Innova's and a riders cub section, even if only to prevent people migrating to the dreaded FB (as I've seen happen to a few of my favourite forums lately)
I think this is a great wee forum, pretty active, lots of knowledge to offer, and I'd like to see it remain that way and maybe separate sections would help keep folk coming back?
Ach I'm away to my bed, please discuss.

Re: RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION
The Riders Cub does bear more than a striking resemblance to a Cub, both mechanically and in spirit. Unlike the the list of bikes listed above including, dare I say it, the Innova

Re: RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION
its true there are many other bikes that owe there existance to the cub. could this be because they use the same engine or is it a variation of the ''true cub'' the judges are out on this one
my opinion is that they might not be in existance at all if the cub had not been introduced to the world.
if 60 million cubs have been made think how many engines have been made. i wonder if the riders cub will ever hit the 30 million mark let alone 60 million
