Hopefully, it'll be a simple enough job and look reasonably professional.
Probably get it at some point next week.
I'll see if I can take some video, weather permitting.

Re: RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION
Just a thought. When considering this (using the cheapo rack with the existing seat rail) I was considering using some double pipe clamps as drilling the seat rail looked like it might weaken it to breaking point.
I'll be interested to see how you get on.

Re: RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION
That looks like an interesting idea.
Where can you pick up that type of clamp for a good price?

Four of those would cost me more than the rack!Capitano wrote: ↑Fri Dec 04, 2020 7:33 amBPC do them.

That's ridiculous, the rack has just been delivered!

Re: RIDERS CUB DISCUSSION
One of the reasons I lost interest.
I reckon Michael could be on the right lines, making your own clamps lined with rubber. I've done this previously on a much larger scale to fit rigid panniers to a rack. Used treadplate offcuts and sprayed them black.
Looks like I got ripped off, paid £19.99 for mine.
