Mine is a puig too, though I may try and cut it down by a couple of inch so I can see over the top as visibility isn't that good in driving rain or snow or at night for that matter.

I'm very long in the body so I can see over mine quite comfortably...In fact i's perfect, i can see the road in front of the bike over the screen but the wind is just ruffling the top of my helmet

Ill be cutting my puig down a bit, about 5 inches, I cut a screen down when I had my sh300, lots of masking tape, mark the cut scribed from the existing top of the screen to get an even curve, then a large hacksaw, quite easy, smooth the cut after with wet and dry, and " jobs a good' un".

Second tank = 148mpg........ ;)

I have a screen like yours now I cut 2 inches off the bottom then dropped the screen down leaving the top all looking professional

its from Puig also and fits perfectly. Its way smaller than yours. Easy to look over it, raises both topspeed and gasmilage. Got your bigger one too, but didn´t like to have to look through it esp. in rain or snow and loosing topspeed. I´ve cut off about 4.5 inches and she runs like naked. But like my smaller one better. The only disadvantage is more noise on the helmet but i can handle that.

that's good mileage to the gallon but the bike don't hold a gallon so how many miles do you get to a tank full

usually fill up, when the last bar is blinking for some 20 km. So about 100mls. I am quite often on autobahns and you got fined if you strand because of lack of gas. Maybe i´m a bit too anxious and filling up too early. If you´re interested here is my record of the last 28.000 km:

On longer trips i use a 5 liter spare can and to prevent emergencies i carry a 1 liter canister in the u-box.
