Re: Leten
With double the power of a Super Cub, 10 lt fuel tank and only 128 kg, it would make a very capable bike. As it’s their first bike perhaps to be followed by a dedicated road version. Would be a good seller here I’m sure.

Re: Leten
I'm not so sure. It would be a niche market that probably isn't worth bothering with in the UK.
Lexmoto are consistently the best selling brand of 125, let alone the best selling Chinese brand by a country mile.
They already do a 156kg adventure scooter that is, truthfully, ace!
The XDV 125. It's discounted at most Lexmoto dealers to around £2500. Sales are lukewarm at best.
An unknown brand without Lexmoto's dealer network and a proven spares backup,is unlikely to fare better, I'm afraid.

That being said, looks-wise it knocks the XDV into a cocked hat. Lexmoto's (and other brands like Sinnis, Keeway etc) brief is to import proven Chinese bikes, and sell under their own brand name.
I could see a scenario where the Leten is brought in under one of those brands, with spares backup through Lexham/CMPO.
Maybe we'll see it. Perhaps we won't.

Love to know more about that engine. Note there are no foot-pedals either side so the left hand lever is presumably the rear brake. It must have a centrifugal clutch and possibly belt and variator type primary transmission.

Re: Leten
I like the idea of a TandG scooter /motorbike hybrid with big wheels. If it does hit the UK I could be tempted though I have no off-road pretentions, and I can't see that a variator and centrifugal clutch would do well in stop-start conditions anyway. Lets not forget that there was a minor outcry when Honda decided not to import the CT125!
Of course lack of final drive chain is a scooter selling point that is sacrificed to be swapped for better rear suspension behaviour.
The stated weight at 128Kg may, as with many Chinese export specifications, be more aspirational than deliverable!
