im with you bogs oil change regular cheaper than engine keep it clean for what it costs i change my oil on c90 every 600 miles
Me too, my 1990 C90 is on 44,000, motor has never been apart. I never top it up if it needs it, just change it using whatever I have in the shed, 10/40 at the mo. Probably about every 500 or so.

Yep, I'm the same. Every 600 to 800 miles.
Most of my everyday ones have done 20,000 to 40,000. I have got some with higher miles.
Never stripped any of my ones.
Only clutch drum apart for plates etc and spinner filter clean out. A couple have had cam chains and the odd exhaust valve.
I buy 10w/40 in 25 litre drums off the net. (I've got a few on the road)
I'm using Smith and Allan oil at the moment.
Always use a torque wrench on sump bolt to avoid stressing the alloy threads.
With regular oil changes you get very little wear in the engine.
Andy.
