1991 Triumph Trophy 1200 £1550- Derbyshire SOLD

1991 Trophy 1200

125 bhp Model

Very early bike low 400’s frame number so roughly within the first 3 months of production.

Just over 36k full with mot till September 2022 with no advisories.

2 sets of keys for bike

Comprehensive service history with the bike a full carrier bag full, near enough every receipt the bike has ever had and the genuine triumph workshop manual


New Gel battery

New EBC HH brake pads front and rear

Matching Michelin tyres with good tread.

Good chain & sprockets and scotoiler fitted with new vacuum take off on carbs

Comes equipped with original triumph branded panniers and matching top box with 2 sets of keys for each.

Flip screen fitted but original comes with the bike ( has minor scratch on original but may polish out) .

Bagster leather tank cover which matches the paint and non matching bag included also

Mk1a bars and foot pegs fitted for greater comfort (fitted as standard from 1994 onward and a common retro fit for the earlier '91-93 bikes).

Optional extra gel seat fitted from a later bike (very comfy)

Fender extender fitted to front mudguard.

Original grab rail included to give new owner choice of whether to keep panniers on or not.

Some spares included

including 2 igniter boxes (worth £100 each via eBay sold prices) plug leads, plugs and a few other bits and bobs as shown in photos.


Great original early Bike looking for a new home as just don't get time to ride it often enough due to work.

A mate used to have one of thee when we were doing lots of rallies on Harleys, Goldwings etc.

Its carrying capacity was far in excess of even the 'Wings and about 4 x that of an Electraglide.

We used to call it, "the backup van."

Incredibly low stressed motor with huge bearings too by all accounts.

That's a good buy for someone. 8-)

Funny you mentioned that, when I bought it the top box & panniers were rammed full of spares and a spare seat bungeed to the seat, didn't even notice the extra weight even with my fat backside on it :lol:

it's like a nuclear bomber, crosses continents with ease!
