Post by 125erCrazy » Fri Sep 20, 2019 8:34 pm

Possible for Bikerbarker in his search

Please view this ad:

Piaggio MP3 400 FL, ... pp_android

Price: £ 1,400
Seems sensible money though I don't remember much about the 400cc lump
Would look myself but currently in wrong part of the country

Edited to remove link to gumtree app. wightegi

Thanks for thinking of me!

I keep thinking about going to see this one, it's just down the road in Southend and has been up for sale for quite a few weeks. High mileage though and the 400 was not as popular as the others. Think it's been on a couple of sites too.

Food for thought though!

If I remember correctly, the 400 was a sleeved down Master 500 motor, not an overbored 250 Leader motor.

At the time Piaggio had the Gilera brand and put the 500 motor in the Fuoco. The MP3 400 was more plain Jane to the more radically styled Gilera.

I rode on several Maxi Muppet rideouts with both 3 wheelers and the 400 was just as stable and impressive as its larger cousin.
