I am a Mechanic been working in the bike trade since 1977. Currently running my own workshop so a bit of modifying on my own bikes is easy

I am a big C90 fan got a C90G currently slightly modified single seat Givi rack and BIG top box a few LED lights Engine is a bitsa bottom end is of to 90 I had stolen and wreaked a couple of years ago top end ( head Barrel piston ) is off a much later engine has Ball race cam shaft currently playing with the gearing 16/38 seems best so far

You gotta be careful saying your a mechanic, many members are very good with spanners but I'm not ... as Leiba was hinting at. I recently moved from Sydenham, Lawrie Park Gnds.

I guess I do know a fair bit about the Cub in its various models I been servicing them since I worked for a Honda dealer 19979/82

I have a rule in my business that fair advice should be freely given OK I was a hobby mechanic who turned pro and yes I do still enjoy it! If I do the job I expect to be paid That pays the bills but advice in person on the phone on on a forum is free that is me and my rules !

I am here looking for ways to improve my own ride but I also like to keep up with the best ideas so as to offer my customers the best possible service I only have a few c90 mostly 12v but 1 6vt and a 6vt C70, Most of my work is bigger bikes say 500 and up so the 90's are a present change !

We've all got to eat and if it's your business you should be paid and I hope most times your paid well Actually there's a few specialists on here..... not me though, if I do more good than harm, I'm happy.

As you can imagine Dave there's a real mixture of people here, some like to ride and not tinker, some like to mainly tinker, some just like to talk about it and some people here make brilliant creations though what your idea of a 'brilliant creation is ....... that's another thing.

Sounds good Dave! We're at the cutting edge of Cub 90 design and performance, unless you visit the Greek scene, which places us firmly in the 'Stone Age'

Ignition advance by welding a blob )
1/2l reserve tank

Engine is build from parts and has a late ball race cam head
Gear leaver mod longer and rubber front
