Hi welcome, 10 years what kept you :? :) You will find lots of info here on all things honda 90 and of course tyres, most people go for conti go tyres from continental.

I am a postman I am supposed to be late ;) but maybe not quite 10 years lol
I have just emailed M & P regarding tyres if I can get a promo for a fiver which covers the postage then I will indulge in conti's although I have not seen the price of the vee rubbers anywhere but 2 years ago I put clear silicone in the cracks where they had perished so I guess it's time for a couple of new ones :D

Conti Go is the way to uhh, ...go. Pirelli City Demons are pretty good, but don't last very long and are nowhere near as good in the wet. There's a Michelin tyre available too that apparantly sticks like crap to a blanket, but I've never tried them - I've heard they're pricey, and because they're a sticky compound, don't last long either.

Contis front and back and you're set. Some people recommend a 2.75 on the back instead of the 2.50, but when I tried it I noticed absolutely sod all difference...

Welcome to the Club Postie :D

I did see the tyre question and you can get a 2.75 on the back....... maybe even more but 2.75 is good ;)

Ordered a 2.50 & 2.75, so are you sure this will make it handle like an R1 ?

Hardly, though it will handle well. I still fail to see the point of the 2.75 on the rear- makes absolutely sod all difference IMHO.
