Thanks for the Add. So me and a mate turn 50 this year and we wanted to do something different. We both learnt to fall off bikes on C90's...

So the plan is get 2 Honda Cubs from the 70's which we found (bought unseen!) but they are C50's JDM post bike imports so will change the engine to Lifan 110's go through them top to bottom, put fuel in them and aim south to Dakar and see how far we get.....

Looking through all the posts about wiring and engine swaps, some great info and I am sure will need some support as time goes on and we uncover more mysteries.

Proper Press Cubs, Honda also did Jap Post bikes with small wheels and heavy duty suspension.

You're half way there with the racks IMHO, ideal for an adventure!

There was an old episode of "How do they do that" on Discovery about newspaper production in Tokyo, shows a Press Cub in action fully loaded towards the end.

Got the lifan 125 to drop in just need to figure out getting rid of the fuel pump and the wiring.

50c was fun but that wears thin quickly
