C70 Project

Post by nimian » Tue Mar 22, 2022 12:58 pm

Hi All
I hope I can get some help on the following.
I have a c70 Deluxe ( This is the only markings on the bike)
It has also had an engine change to a 100cc manual gearbox with a clutch
The engine number is ZN100E
The bike is in Thailand and will be my new project.
I cannot find any details for the c70 deluxe, It has dual seats.
I am not sure if this is a cub or supercub or passport etc.
I would certainly appreciate and help to identify it and also if anyone would know what the ZN100E engine came from as I need to order some parts.

There is one advertised as a C70 Super Cub that looks to be identical, even down to the many spokey wheels and odd looking rear tail section of the mudguard.

https://www.bahtlist.com/classifieds/ho ... er-cub-127

Googling the motor ZN100E comes back as possibly a Nice or Wave 100, that might be spurious though.

Good luck!

It appears that there is/was a guy in Thailand who customised them. He did the Classic or the Custom. His company is "Omega Racer est 2011" , also known as "Tom's Honda Classics.
Yours is the Classic ......

Thanks for your time on this
I take it that the picture you sent is the ZN100E?
You have obviously taken a great deal of time cleaning and painting it, It looks great.
Do you know what this bolt does?
I highlighted it in the picture,

Hi.
The cases were painted as stock from Honda.
The bolt is the one that holds the camchain guide wheel in.
You can see the wheel in place on the left hand head.

Ps The large plate bit on the head is a cable take-off for a rev counter.
