Hello from Arkansas, USA.
I have a 1982 c70 (called Passport here). It has been sitting roughly 25 years but was stored well and is now a runner. I plan to keep it mostly original, tidy it up and add a bit of performance.
I am impressed with the amount of technical information on this site and look forward to chatting with you all.

Welcome. You're right, there are a lot of knowledgeable members on here but it is also a particularly friendly forum where you'll get loads of help if you need it.
I'm also interested to know how common Honda Cubs are in your part of the world.

Welcome from a fellow 82 Passport owner here in the states as well.
Great bikes and a ton of fun.
To answer the others questions, called freeways here and small bikes NOT welcome... varies by state but many have a 200cc limit.
We can ride on most other roads like a one lane each way highway but many have 50mph or higher speed limits and our car drivers
are not very careful or patient.
Not many 90cc Cubs at all, but lots of ct90's (trail 90) lots of 80-81 C70 passports (6V with points) but few 82-83 C70's (12V with CDI).
Also almost no Lifan 110 motors but lots of Lifan 125's.
