Hi folks. So our son bought a C90 to get to work and we were so impressed that now the wife and I have one too. Completely new to bikes as well as to C90s. Gulp!
Any tips on how to ride smoothly, where to go for parts (need a mirror and would like a rear rack & top box), how to stop them being stolen, and most of all how to enjoy them would be appreciated! Thanks

Try Wemoto for mirrors ,they have them in stock .David Silver also stoke genuine parts and our Davebike on here can supply parts as well.

Cool, not only family C90 holidays but you could triple the numbers at some bike meets nowadays

Welcome

Welcome, a great story!

You don't say where you are, good idea to put a rough location in your details.

I returned to bikes 10 years ago when my son started riding. He wrote his first bike off so I bought a C90 for him to ride as it was the cheapest thing to insure. Used it for a while when he was abroad and got withdrawal symptoms when he was using it so bought another etc which is how the madness grows. He's moved on now but that original bike gets used nearly every day.

I'm not alone in getting dragged into Cub ownership by a son either.

As Wightegi says there are loads of good suppliers of parts for the square lamp bikes.

As to riding smoothly, adjust the clutch using the advice on here then practice makes (almost) perfect.

To enjoy try riding with others. You might be lucky enough to join a ride posted on either local or national events. This was one from York last summer.

Enjoy the trip.

Thanks for the welcome and advice. We're based in the Bristol area. Looking forward to getting out and about especially as the weather starts to improve...

Stick Bristol in your details ;) We have a meeting in September in the new forest just 80 miles away if you fancy a ride out, we camp at Hurst View campsite .
