Post by xrrik » Sun Mar 13, 2011 11:41 pm

hi all,

new to the forum and also to 2 wheels. i had an 06 plate 100cc malaguti ciac scooter for a year, this wasnt too bad having big wheels but a bore to ride.
having bought a car for winter i decided to change the bike. im now the proud owner of a 1988 yamaha t80. no tax or test but im on the case.
iv done a few runs up the road an what a diffrence to the sit an screw!!! more smiles from 2 mile than the scooter gave in a year.
hope to keep u all posted on the t80s progress.

Rick

used to work at barnsley. u cant move for all the hondas

not used mt t80 much as its making a strange noise!!! wen im trying to change gear up or down it

sounds like the gears are only semi disengaging. if id adjusted the clutch up wrong would it show these symptoms? any ideas people???

Does the clutch drag when you select 1st gear? Even if it's adjusted wrong you can still make a silent gear change, some riders with manual cluch don't bother to use it changing gear.
