I finally made it. HELL YEAH!

Post by SwampDonkey » Tue Jul 13, 2021 12:42 pm

Hi all!

After a long time trying to join the forum due to activation issues, I finally did it thanks to Newtsalad!

Bought my second C90 a few months back.
The first one was a field bike I bought back when I was 13 for £10 which I had to bail from when the throttle stuck on full and was forced to part ways.
Quite literally part ways.

Now in my 50's and the skin has grown back I have a red '87 C90E and I love it!

I had every intention to either restore or go the full custom route but you know....I kinda like it as for now.

I'm near Chesterfield/Sheffield and can't say that I see many Cubs around here although I know from FB groups that there are.

Anyhow, I just wanted to say thanks for having me and also again to Newtsalad for sorting my activation out for me.

Cheers! :)

You mean "Cub Racing"?
I have one of his stickers on my side panel from the previous owner.

Funnily enough, I just got back from Dronfield on a test ride after fitting a new speedo cable and adjusting my clutch.
I'm in a village called Cutthorpe which is a only a few miles away from Dronfield as the crow flies.

Damn you is good!

SH@T!

Pretty sure it wasn't but it looked the same outer length when fitted. Maybe even a tad longer.
The inner seemed okay as there was plenty of thread left on the threaded collar things at the end.
Just got the cheapest and fastest delivey. Think it was only £6.99.

I guess time will tell but thanks for the heads up.
