New member C50 (newbie)
Hi all, I'm new to the forum and new to owning a Honda C50, the information i have on the bike is limited, even I'm not sure what year it is Hopefully some people here may help me understand more about the bike I just purchased

Hi ,you may find the info here viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1098 , Have you got the number plate if not a member on here can find it from the Vin number .

Hi, Its Vietnam model but the Vin is C50E 3050079 Dont know if thus helps or not

We do not have all the information on all bikes , is it 6 or 12 volt ? the battery will have 3 filler plugs for 6 volt anmd 6 for 12 . The wiring loom may have a label with the date on it under the legshields ,so worth removing them to look .Are you based in Vietnam ,put a rough location in your details .

Thanks for the reply, its a 6V , only know as searching for a headlight bulb and thats 6V

OK the enclosed tank bikes started in 1972 and the 6 volts ran until the early 80s , as you are going to fit a choke cable take the leg shield off and see if there is a date label on the wiring. Should be easy enough to find a choke cable in your location
Also check the Vin number C50E is usually the engine number ,the VIN is on the frame near where the spine rack mounts above the gear lever.
