Hi all. My name is Vince. I'm a middle aged Cheshire boy with a lifelong passion for two wheels. I have a Harley Heritage Softail, a well restored DT250MX, a gorgeous 1976 Harley (Aermacchi) SS250 that needs a bit of electrical work and my 1988 C90E. I've had the Cub for five years or so and it has never let me down until last week. Can't find a spark and I suspect coil failure. There are lots of replacement coils on the market but can anyone recommend one, or a genuine supplier, or give information on what is suitable for my model. The bike is 12V with a CDI system. Nice to meet you all.

Welcome Vince,
I am sure there are plenty of cub people who can advise you re your coil? problem.
When I needed a coil and CDI unit I bought these from Pit Bike Spares and have had no issues whatsoever and they were a fraction of the price of Honda OEM. Good luck!
