And those are the magic words, my mantra has always been not the lack of engine size but lack of imagination as to where to go
Looks great & be sure to post some RRs

Hi Lip Up Fatty,
It is quite exciting to have a new bike which you cannot wait to try.
BUT suggest you don't hold your breath with regards to the documents from the DVLA.
I sent mine away on the 6th April 2020 and have still heard nothing.
Apparently the DVLA does not open the post, accept emails or phone calls at the moment.
Must be the Chinese give away.
At least you can give it a good polish ready for the first outing.
Good Luck,
Regards,
Ken

Very true. I just had to post a form D2 to a friend stranded in Portugal (which took 3 weeks to arrive by Royal Mail ) so he can get a medical extension on his licence so he can actually drive home as DVLA aren't answering enquires.

Re: Soon to be cub owner
I've sent V5s off for colour and engine changes and had them back in the last couple months.
Seems they're being selective...

I think the 'organ grinders monkey' jobs that students on peace work can achieve social distancing continue but anything that involves 'above my pay grade' decisions goes to the back of the queue (so business as usual I guess)
