Hi Club members
I have just been busy sorting out the garage.
Just to give myself something to do I brought out my old Honda.
I thought it was a C200 or CA200 - but it was registered in 1967 and has an overhead cam engine --- something it think that was put in the CD90Z bikes.
So this is a project I am keen to start.
So far it can tell the bike is in reasonable condition - but needs some TLC -
Currently making a list of the parts I need -
Anyway , I look forward to getting stuck in - and no doubt I will have questions to ask
Best wishes for Nottingham

Re: New to the C90club
Thanks for your welcome
Found out more about my bike
It was the transition period between the C200 and the S90.
The C201 are I believe pretty rare - not sold in the USA but were in Canada
I bought mine in Dublin
The OHC engine casing in mine differ from the OHC engine on the S90 - so not clear what clutch mechanism is used on the C201 engine
Might have some fun - as the caskets may have to be home made.
I have sent some engine details to a number of dealers that offer spares -
By the way - I have a packet of caskets i think it is for the Pushrod version - I would like to donate FOC to any member that needs them.
Cheers
Stuart

Hi Stuart, try Scooters and Bikes Cardiff for gaskets. [02920700700] showing that they are still open

Hi enthusiasts
Finding out more about the C201
Got the user manual - from the attic of course - and found the spec
Compared it to John Thorpe's book with the S90 engine and it has the same bore and stroke
So getting to the answers on how to proceed
This transition bike C201 from C200 to S90 engine is an odd beast . Not available in the US , but exported to Canada.
What fun it is with the Honda story!!!
