New to the Forum

Post by lofty68 » Mon Apr 13, 2020 7:18 pm

Hi all,

I've just joined, great to see Forums still exist. Looking to by a C90 later this year and play around with it. I have many found memories of riding one a mate had; riding around his farm, and owned one in 1980 that i used to ride around my garden...absolutely loved it. Unfortunately it was scrapped before I had a chance to reclaim it.

Hoping to find some advice and possibly a bike on here.

Looking froward to chatting :D

What part of God's county do you hail from Paul? I am 'twixt Debenham and Wetheringsett.

Hi Newtsalad, thanks for the reply.

I live just south of Bury St Edmunds, in a village called Gt Whelnetham. I've been looking for a c90 for a few years but haven't got tround to buying on as yet. With a 'fair' amount of time on my hands at the mo, I'm putting it to do use doing research and have found one quite local to me on FB, but can't do much about it!

Cheers,

Paul

Hi,

Thanks for the message.

I went and had a look at a 87 c90 a few days ago (at a responsible distance) and loved it, but the seller was honest and told me it had some work done on it to remove rust under the seat. It was in good condition with 23000 miles on the clock, a local Suffolk chap had owned it for a few years and used it as his daily run around.

There is another one I would like to have a look at, but its not possible at the moment.

Cheers,

Paul
