G'day Guys and Gals
Just thought I'd post a quick hello to let you know I'll be lurking in the background for a while, seeing what I can learn, and perhaps trying to contribute, but I can't see me being able to teach you guys much at this stage of the game.
My rides:
- 1995 Harley Davidson FXSTC
- 2003 Harley Davidson 883R Hundredth Anniversary Model
- 2010 Honda CT110 Postie Bike
- 1970 Honda C50
- 1974 Honda C90
Both the C70 and the C90 may not be the models I have listed - in fact I have not seen them as yet - they have been shipped to my house in Sydney, but I am away in Mount Isa (about 2,500kms from Sydney) working and wont get home to see them for 3 weeks yet.
Anyway,I have posted pictures of them so maybe you guys can enlighten me.
I have also posted pictures of my mighty "Postie Bike" - if that term means anything to the Forum....they were taken while I was riding down the Birdsville Track in outback Australia - with temperatures hitting 53 degrees on some days - but the mighty postie pulled through without a problem.'
I'll post some pictures in some following posts
Thanks for letting me join.

Re: New Australian member.
Welcome! Whatever the years/models of the Cubs there will be plenty of advice available on here.
There are a few on here who have CT's, mainly 90s imported from the US. My own Postie is a 1972 CT90 with a 1995 CT110 lump fitted by Ben de Leer who has also done some epic trips on a similar bike. It's kept at my son's house near Melbourne at the moment but I may well ship it home to the UK after my next visit. I need something slightly quicker to keep up with my son on rides. Investigated shipping my BMW out but having investigated VicRoads and it's not worth it, might try an Enfield Himalayan instead as the new price out there is about what it would cost getting the BMW on the road there.
A few Harley owners on here too. Not for me. Apart from my Buell XB that is! They're quite rare in the UK but seen loads on my visits, something that has made me homesick a time or two.
En route to Phillip Island Straya Day 2018

Re: New Australian member.
Welcome polybus, love the loaded up postie, proper adventure bike.
I was in communication with PeterS on the Ecomodder site, one of your fellow countrymen from Eastern Australia. He wanted to convert one of the new FI posties into a recumbent. Sadly haven't heard from him for a couple of years and I fear the worse.

Hi Polybus, Gary here from Melbourne, I think I have your C90's brother a 1968 model. Along with a rather large collection of CT90's and 110's

Welcome, Polybus. It certainly hasn't taken you very long to see what a brilliant forum this is.
Enjoy your bikes and ask as many questions as you want.
