Hello Gang..Picked up a MD90 from Seven Seas in Dewsbury last Saturday. Train over & rode it back to Lincolnshire in torrential rain ! My first “cub” riding experience in 34 years of motorcycling ! A disgrace I know ! We (the MD & I) both survived the experience & i’ve Been out for a razz about since, LOVE IT !
Need to get a maintenance manual to familiarise my self with servicing etc...Any body got anything...Haynes or otherwise ? And any other owners in the Lincolnshire area ? Cheers Dave

The engines were either 6 volt or 12 volt , the 6 volt 90 engines are not the same as the 12 volt ones , so what have you got ?

Welcome indeed.

You're unlikely (someone prove me wrong) to find a manual for the MD90 but if I'm right it's basically a C90 with a 14" rear wheel? Have a look at the following thread to find a sort of generic Honda C90 workshop manual - up to 85'ish - might do for a start.

I'm in Essex and did have a plan to have a disorganised camping weekend at Lincs Aviation Museum, East Kirkby this year. Managed to mangle my leg but still aim to do it next year when finally fit enough. :D

I got a HAYNES, just to get my head around basic maintenance & yes i’m Sure you are right, no need to hunt a specific MD manual.

Thinking about it, you could probably get a manual for an MD90 but it would be in Japanese! The downloadable one mentioned above is better than a Haynes IMHO.

Enjoy whatever.

Hi Dave & welcome.
I too bought an MD90 from Seven Seas but had it delivered as I`m in Essex & felt too old to ride that sort of distance! Maintenance is basically the same as the C90 & I haven`t found a specific manual apart from a Japanese one & that wouldn`t be much use to me. I think that the engine is the same as the 6v machines althought it has 12v output - it certainly has the larger clutch side case than my 12v cub. There are a couple of grease nipples that the C90s don`t have - on the side stand & centre stand pivot but you`ve probably seen those.
I think they`re great little bikes as well & I think I may even prefer it to my C90 :o
