Good evening
I'm currently looking into purchasing a C90 to go with my campervan when i go for a jolly.
i will hopefully be keeping it fairly standard however ill probably end up putting some off road tires on it for a bit of green laning.
I'm based on the suffolk coast so thankfully dont have many hills to contend with.
Regards
Matthew

Welcome!
Not many hills, but you do have Newtsalad and his posse to contend with in Suffolk.
Though it's, "norraproperonda," given your requirements , you could do a lot worse than to consider Kevin's Riders Cub that's for sale on the forum.

Welcome Matthew,
I'm in Essex just outside Sudbury so likely not far from you & motorhome owner.
My honda cub has long gone but there are alternatives (as mentioned the riders cub a good choice).
Depending how you intend transporting your cub/camper another possible is the Tomas moped the earlier models coming in at below 60kg fiamma bike rack limit. But money wise they are expensive.
Happy cub hunting & let us know what you find

+1 for that. I now have 2 of these and lost count of the times people have said "I used to have one of those". Highly unlikely, even had a club member congratulate me on my restoration.Capitano wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2019 6:37 amNot many hills, but you do have Newtsalad and his posse to contend with in Suffolk.

Not Jap quality obviously but better front brake, less possibility of rot and Honda parts fit (in the main). You are well situated for Honda Parts as well with David Silvers at Leiston.

I was recently accosted by a 'likely looking' individual who, before he could try to mug me broke into a lovely anecdote about how his Dad used to give him pillion rides on a C90 just like mine.. we parted friends in Cub-dom, I didnt have the heart to tell him, but the original Honda C90 axle bolt in my bike says "you are welcome"

Cheers for all the replirs
Bikerbaker that's a nice looking T4 what rack is that you have on the back ?
Capitano that's a lovely looking ride. I'm tied up with work until the end of the month, once the R6 is gone ill have room for the cub in the garage.
Fortunately for me my works training center backs on to David silvers so I can get there during my lunch break.

It's a Dave Cooper bike rack, quite a few of us on here have them. Easy to load single handed and about £100 plus delivery. Will only fit onto a towbar with a bolted on ball, no good for swan necks. Theoretically possible to tow a trailer with a bike on the back but it does limit articulation.
He has the dimensions for Cubs and modifies a trials version to suit, usually takes about a week. Website says zinc plating extra but we reckon he won't sell you one without it

Re: new member
Awesome i will look into it.
I might have had a stoke of luck.
I've emailed a couple of guys at my work who own C90s and one of them wants me to go and have a look at a bike hes had in his workshop for a few years.
I'm quite mechanically/electrically capable so if the frames good and the price is right it might be worth a punt.
more info and pictures to follow tomorrow.
