There are no tuning parts for the 6 volt bike ,it is bigger and relies on a fully charged battery to run ,so not a popular choice.

Run the plop with a 6v and bank on either breaking down and or coming last. Or both.

You can look at this a few ways, and for me it depends how much the 6 volter has been offered to you for. There has been a few 6 volt engined bikes in the Plop Enduros but I have seen quite a few not finish. Saying that, there are quite a few 6 volt framed bikes that race with either a 12 volt C90 engine in or jumping up into the open class and put in a Lifan 110 in. To simplify it you can strip all the electrics out and run both those engines off a basic pit bike loom.If you are getting it for a song go for it ,but if they want good money hang out for a 12 volter,a road registered bike is a bonus so you can iron out any gremlins ,good luck whichever way you go,cheers Ian.

It's the very same engine that Honda saw fit to use in their trail CT90 bike.

Go for the 12v its quicker as standard.
