hi from scotland
Hi all just bought a 1984 c90e and i love it have had loads of bikes in my time, but this was bought for the back of my campervan so that when i head to a festival i have some transport for nipping about, it needs a little bit of work but nothing major, if their are any members planning any ride outs in scotland give me a shout I could be tempted to join in lol.

Re: hi from scotland
I am on the north east coast and the weather is fine for january about 4deg and sunny snow showers today lol, as for venturing south almost everything i do is a 6 or 7 hundered mile round trip!, and that is not a problem in my vw campervan with my scoot on the back lol, heading south to Newark retro festival and Twinwood festival this year can't wait.

Re: hi from scotland
When we were in John O'Groats for the start of Jogle a local told us that they hadn't had snow there for many, many years.
I find that hard to believe and my plonker could well have been pulled.

Re: hi from scotland
To be honest knapdog the snow tends to be inland ( Tomintoul, Ballindalloch),We seldom get snow where i live (on the coast) and if we do its gone as fast as it turns up ? but in the town a few miles in land it can lie for days ?. So I can believe that they dont get much snow in john o groats to exposed.

Re: hi from scotland
Snow is less likely by the coast because of the salt. It doesn't help with rusting though.
