Are we playing 'Top Trumps' with how small a vehicle you can towball carry a C90 (type).
If so - I give you 600cc of raw Citroen power
You win!

Always did and always will hanker after an Acadiane.

How funny! We normally tow a Citroen 2cv behind our camper but want to try the C90 for ease. We also had a Citroen 2CV van that we drove from London to Ulaanbaatar Mongolia.

Bit of a pain when the kingpin broke but I managed to hacksaw up my socket extension bar & use that for several hundred miles!

My last Dyane looked a bit like that at one stage. Twisted the suspension arm gradually until the round cross section flattened considerably. Easily fixed though. All my own fault as I had wound up the friction dampers to make it "handle" on my daily commute down Essex lanes. Also my lack of slowing for speed humps might not have helped. Used to camp in it as I put lie flat seats from a GSX2 in it. Got a company car so it sat in my garage for a couple of years then sold which was a mistake!

There great< We camped in that one every day apart from two for the month it took to get there. Both rear swing arms snapped & something broke every day but we got there. I'm hoping we will have a lot of fun on the C90, I'm hoping to look at one over the weekend.
Heres our current 2CV also carrying other transport!

Wayne I take my hat off to you, I did have the perfect ‘Raid’ prepped van but sadly had a back injury and as I was still working had no time for foreign jollies.

Did take it to Spain though.

It had a rather spiffy sump guard and an Ami anti-roll bar.

Despite being rusty the Acad never gave me any trouble but the AK just fought me all the way (stripped the threads for the manifold and one of the oil unions on the head, left cylinder always leaked despite being ground in, 123 ignition box gave up and took out 2 coils in the process etc etc.)

I do,have a hankering for a RHD car so if you hear of anything....

many moons ago whilst working in a citroen approved bodyshop I was delivering a 2cv back to the dealership when I was was clean out for a second or two

managed to bring the car to the side of the road in relative safety but I was dazed and my swede hurt like a mother....

the nylon strap holding the sun roof had failed, the roof whipped up and down clocking my on the head. I was not amused

if I had the money I think I'd quite like one, perverse isn't it

:)

That last post made me laugh. I thought I was being cleaver & pre made a sump guard from ply as I thought it might be lighter & less harsh when hitting the ground. When I came to fit it in Kazakstan I think it was only about an hour before it caught on fire! That also made me laugh after I put it out.
