Hi from North Wales

Hi All
Picked up new C125 yesterday. Its blue. Fell in love when purchasing my other bike, NC750xaj.
Planning to alternate on weekly basis for my commute.
Is this a good place to ask about security, I.e abus granit u lock and how to store it on the bike
Based near Denbigh.

Welcome to the club ,have you been out on the bike yet ? Security depends where you ride and park if the keyless part of the system is in the main ECU that runs the fuel injection then it will not be possible to start the bike without the `key`. They are a bit heavier than the Cub so can be picked up and put in a van so locking it to something to prevent this is the best idea.

Yup, chain it to something or other, the heavier (or noisier) the better. I like to lock mine to a wheelbarrow when I can.

This is part of my 'new' security system since my bike was evicted into the road. At the end of that chain, inside the cone, it's attached to a heavy lump of concrete. The other end, as you can see, is wrapped around the steering column. There are two reasons for this. One is to make it awkward for the lowlifes to carry it away and out of sight to set about the chain and the other is to deter them from having a go at the steering lock. There's no point in breaking that if it's still attached to the chain/cone so it puts off the chancers around here.

Very true that. My mind was clouded by the afternoon I have just spent chaining up and covering my BMW, might be a tad heavy for my wheelbarrow. Lets face it I can't even keep the bike upright.
As the C125 has a disc then maybe an Oxford screamer disc lock might bear thinking about combined with some good chains etc. Fitted one of them too and it does seem to work. No doubt my neighbours will give me their opinion if and when it goes off in the night. My son has one on his bike which is regularly set off by one of their dogs.
