Newbie

Post by Bigdog » Tue Oct 30, 2018 8:03 pm

Hi all my names Ryan,I’ve just bought a c90 of eBay. It belonged to trixe of this parish, Iam well chuffed with it as it’s been well looked after. I blame luap of this parish who I work with and Ed March and some fellar who I read about on horizons unlimited who takes his touring to Scandinavia n the middle of winter.
I’ve had various bikes over the years and spent an eventful year dispatch riding in London.
Now iam into greenlaning on my xr400 and bimbling around on the 90.
This is the first time I’ve ever posted on a forum although I’ve lurked on various others.
I thought I’d give this one ago as you seem like a friendly knowledgeable bunch.
Cheers Ryan. Sunny Herne Bay.

Welcome Ryan, you've just brought the best motorcycle in the world and joined the greatest club too :D.
There is quite a few members around your neck of the woods, so you wont be short of freinds...there's normally a couple of local kent/Surrey meets a year plus its always a laugh going to one of the 3 official meets.

If your ever close to Gatwick look out for G.H.I.Ps (Gatwick highway Patrol)

Thanks Terry.

Cheers guys.
I love chips, can we all agree that home made crinkle cut chips are the apex of chips ?.
I don’t know if I should ask a question of such magnitude so early in the relationship.

You will need a good petrol stove to cook chips on the campsite.

We know all about stoves as well :o :?

Best to send Fatboy to the nearest chippy with a list. He's been getting away with senior citizen discounts since he was in his late 20s!

Welcome, Ryan.

For me, nothing beats a double cooked Bistro chip cut from a Maris Piper. :)

As for Ed March. You'll never be as big a fan as Mr Bogger

Welcome, from Essex innit.

Other colours are available.

As Terry says there are sometimes runs South of the Thames and the 3 main events, all worth attending. :D
