Newbie in York, N Yorks, UK

Post by cruncherkid » Tue Dec 07, 2010 7:46 pm

Hi all, thought i'd give the forum a try, have been into the small hondas for many years, currently restoring a few! Have a CD90Z as my fun ride for the good weather, and keeping busy in the crap weather by sourcing bits for my C100 among others. Will post some pix sometime in future! Lee

Hiya, It's been horrific weatherwise, I work out over eastwards and rural from here it's been as low as -18 out there!! Cold enough to freeze the VIN plate off a ringed monkey

Hey there pjam,

Have got in touch with madnik on his own resto thread about the CD90Z, the repairs (weak engine, believe it or not), cost of parts or the handling of the bike (while atop a seat pan the thickness of a pukka pie dish) are not for the faint hearted!!! Though to be fair on parts prices, some things you think will be expensive aren't, and vice versa. Standard Honda rules apply, anything with chrome on or made of rubber apart from tyres is unobtainable.... have had to own 3 bikes just to make 1, it's been an absolute moneypit, but i love the thing to bits!!!! Bring it on!!!! ;) ;) ;) :D
