Hello from Berkshire
Hi, My name is Paul. And I just bought this for £400-
It's very clean and has no structural rust at all. Although, like most, the suspension is completely knackered after 25 years or so...
Right now I have on order a single seat and rack kit, new adjustable shocks for the rear, new shock units for the front, and a new fork link bush kit.
I had one of these as a commuter bike about the time it was made, and it never let me down. So now I have a Yamaha XVS1100 too, but it's just too big for nipping round town or down the shops. So I thought I'd get a C90 instead
I'll post the 'after' picture when I've fixed it up.
Cheers.

Hello and welcome, the rear shocks are never good and a lot of us on here use Cubbitz shocks from Fuzz a member also, check his site on suppliers.A lot of us ride bigger bikes but use the cub most ,it`s the smile factor

Re: Hello from Berkshire
Hey, thanks for the heads up on parts. Much appreciated.
Yeah, I figure 70% of my bike trips are 10 miles or less, so I'll probably be riding the Cub most of the time. Awesome

Welcome to the club and that is a mighty fine looking cub you have there. I put the uprated Fuzz shocks on and it has transformed the ride, you actually have compression and rebound damping and its suitable for some of us heavyweights here!

Thanks for the welcome guys.
This forum is amazing! I already found out I can fit a 2.75 Conti Go to the rear with a 2.5 up front !
Looking for a new set of Conti's now...when will this madness end !
